About

Clare Mosley

My background is in Western Medicine and I qualified as a doctor in 2000 from University College London also gaining a BSc in Physiology. I worked as a junior doctor covering a wide range of specialities, including Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Emergency Medicine, for many years before training as a GP. The last eight years of my NHS career were spent working as a
GP in the local area.

In 2018, I decided to change careers and embark on my training as an acupuncturist. I qualified with a Licentiate in Acupuncture from the prestigious International College of Oriental Medicine. My training included Classical Chinese Medicine, Five Element theory and Stems and Branches theory as well as extensive practical training in the ICOM clinic.

I also spent two years living in Shanghai with my family where I was able to learn more about Chinese culture and also achieved a qualification in ‘Comprehensive Chinese’ from Donghua University.

After qualifying I set up Serenity Acupuncture Clinic in East Grinstead to create a tranquil yet professional environment in which to practice Acupuncture. I also volunteer at the MacMillian centre based in the Queen Victoria Hospital, which offers complementary therapies to those affected by cancer.

I have also trained in Microsuction and Irrigation for the removal of ear wax and now offer this safe and effective treatment in my clinic.

My aim is to use my training in acupuncture together with the wealth of knowledge I have from my medical career to bring patients the best care possible.
